Venues & residencies
Live music for hotels, bars and restaurants in Dubai
A reliable resident musician who understands F&B: the right volume for dinner, the right energy for a Thursday, and guests who stay for one more.
Dan has held weekly and monthly residencies across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, including The Irish Village, Goose Island at FIVE, Timeout Market at Souk Al Bahar, ikandy Ultra Lounge at Shangri-La, Bai Bar at Radisson Blu, Seagrill at Fairmont The Palm, Cafe Belge at The Ritz-Carlton DIFC and BBQ Al Qasr at Emirates Palace. Some ran for years.
What venues get is consistency: the same professional every week, on time, with his own PA, a repertoire that suits the crowd and a live-request system that keeps tables engaged. A solo act with a loop station gives an outlet the sound of a band at a fraction of the cost and space, and can flex from brunch background to a late-night party set.
The current residency list is on the venues page and changes as slots open. Dan is happy to trial a night, build a regular slot around your busiest evenings, or cover one-off events like brunches, ladies’ nights and sports screenings.

FAQ
Questions people ask
What does a residency cost?+
It depends on the slot length, the night and how many weeks are booked. Send the details through the form and Dan will quote for a trial and a regular slot.
Do you bring your own equipment?+
Yes, a full PA, microphones and lighting suitable for most bars and restaurants. Where a house system exists Dan can plug into it.
How loud is it?+
As loud as the room wants. Dinner sets run at conversation level; late sets lift the energy. Volume is agreed with the manager on the night.
Can you cover a brunch every week?+
Yes. Dan has held weekly brunch residencies at Seagrill at Fairmont The Palm and Timeout Market.
Do you promote the venue?+
Yes. Every residency is listed on dmooresmusic.com/venues with a link to the venue, and gigs are posted to Instagram.
